Marysia stays in hospital

Hello Dear Friends! I was supposed to leave for home but unfortunately I am staying in the hospital.

Yesterday's CT scan showed a fungal infection in the lungs. Tomorrow I will undergo an invasive procedure under anesthesia - lung cleaning. Culture material will also be taken and antifungal treatment will begin.

The treatment may take at least 10 days but will probably be longer. The next few weeks will unfortunately be spent in the hospital. Once the doctors have dealt with the fungus, only then will we return to oncological treatment. The clinical condition has improved strongly after chemotherapy.

I have a new passion. Painting with diamonds. I recommend it as part of occupational therapy, small motor development and concentration exercise. Of good news: the cancer is not visible.
