High malignancy cancer

We are after a day hospital and a long conversation with our oncologist.

We are dealing with a tumor with a high degree of malignancy. The occupied femur causes further infiltration.

We have been informed as parents, after a detailed evaluation of all the pros and cons, of the recommendation to amputate the right leg. This is primarily about saving lives.

Traumatologists in orthopedics will tell us the details. The procedure is scheduled for next week.

On Monday we are supposed to have info when we enter the new ward, on Tuesday an interview with a psychologist. We are trying to prepare for the new reality.
