We're out of the hospital but it's just the beginning of treatment

Dear friends we left the hospital but we are still in Rome.

On Monday, 21.07.2025, we return to the hospital. First to Day Hospital and then normally to the ward. This is not the end of treatment but just the beginning.

Tumor cells in the amputated leg were dead at 92%, which means we fit into a regimen for further treatment that has a better prognosis. Below 90% moves us to a last-chance regimen. Further steps will be decided by oncologists.

Further oncological treatment may take 6 to 12 months. The issue of teaching walking and prosthetics is a separate topic.
